TikTok ban in India Cause lose ₹45k crore ($6 Billion): 
TikTok ban in India Cause ByteDance - the parent company of the TikTok and helo could lose ₹45k crore ($6 Billion), after the Indian government resolution to ban them with other 59 Chinese apps citing concerns about privacy and national security of the country. This report is published by China's state-run media The Global Times. Remarkably, India was not the major source of revenue for TikTok, but it was one of the top downloading countries for the app. The Global Times reported that ByteDance had invested more than ₹6.5k crore ($1 Billion), in the Indian market over the years and the ban could prove disastrous for the company’s business in India. The Global Times claimed that ByteDance’s loss would outweigh the potential losses of all other apps combined.

PUBG Mobile Break Record for earning lifetime revenue:
PUBG Mobile earns ₹22.46k crore ($3 Billion) in lifetime revenue, 2020 alone brought in ₹9.73k crore ($1.3 Billion). The game owner Bluehole has witnessed 734 million downloads globally, with India ranking in highest for the number of downloads. Indians make up 24% of the player base, China ranks second with 16.7%, and the US third with just 6.4%. With people staying home owing to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns, the PUBG revenues hit a record high of ₹2.02k crore ($270 million) in March, reveals data from analytics firm Sensor Tower. As per Store Intelligence estimates by San Francisco-based Sensor Tower, PUBG Mobile controlled the multiplayer battle royale games arena with incomes closely four times greater than another massively popular title, Garena Free Fire In 2020.

Twitter gives edit button only when …: 
A Twitter edit control has become the most-requested feature of any online service ever, but the social network has continuously appeared strong-minded not to give us one. On 2nd July, the microblogging platform took a position on the discussion around wearing face masks in public, saying on Twitter: "You can have an edit button when everyone wears a mask”. The tweet was taken mostly in-joke and welcomed by many on the site, coming as governments around the world encourage peoples to wear face masks in public to stop the spread of coronavirus. But others take it as a political intervention, as not wearing a mask has become a political cause in the United States and some other countries.

Chingari apps on the way to becoming next TikTok: 
India's Chingari app has passed 1 crore downloads marks in less than 22 days. The short video platform is also among the top two free apps on Google Play Store in a week. The TikTok-like app was founded by two Bengaluru-based Firms. Co-founder Sumit Ghosh Said that the app was getting over 10 lakh views per 30 minutes soon after the ban on TikTok was declared. Chingari app users were given points (per view) for their videos, which can be converted for money. It is available in multiple Indian languages — Hindi, Bangla, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. The app was first debated on Google Play in November 2018 while it launched on iOS in January 2019. There is another Indian app like Roposo, Mitron, etc. which is also becoming popular after the TikTok ban in India.

The LinkedIn app was copying the contents of clipboard: 
When iOS 14 (Beta) was launched at WWDC, a number of new security features were given. One of them was the facility to find out if an app was work together with the clipboard at strange times. Twitter user DonCubed, a developer for portfolio builder Urspace, posted a video showing that the LinkedIn app was copying the contents of his clipboard on every single keystroke. According to LinkedIn engineering VP Erran Berger, The app copies clipboard contents in order to perform an “equality check” between what a user is typing and what’s in their clipboard, Berger did not say why this checked was essential. “We don’t store or transmit the clipboard contents,” Berger wrote on Twitter...  Erran Berger also responded that the behavior was due to a bug and that the behavior would be removed in an update to the app.
