Realme launched a new pair of truly wireless earbuds in India in what seems like a reply to Xiaomi’s Redmi Earbuds S. After the Realme expanded to products besides smartphones, one of the focus areas the brand has is in-ear audio. After the Realme Buds, Buds Wireless, and two other variants of the Buds Air. Further, Realme also realized it didn’t have a true wireless product that might attraction to those who are not partial to the stem-shaped Buds Air series. That’s where the Realme Buds Q come in.

Not only are the Realme Buds Q the first pair of stem-less true wireless earbuds from the company, but nevertheless it is also the first true wireless audio product that hits the ultra-budget worth section of beneath Rs 2,000. Even with its small size, each bud has 40mAh built-in battery. At the same time with a large 400mAh battery in the charging case. The case does support 30W wired charging. The earbuds can be charged in about two hours and the case also takes about the same time. The earbuds are claimed to offer a battery life of 4.5 hours while single continuous music listening time, 5 hours while single continuous gaming time, 3 hours while single continuous calling time, and a total of 20 hours with the charging case.

The earbuds come with 10mm large dynamic bass boost drivers with premium PEEK & PU Special Polymer Composite Diaphragm and also make use of Realme's Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB) solution to further improve the bass levels. The Buds Q also content the AAC audio codec, something else that budget earphones miss out on at this price. As a result of all the above features, you get clear vocals in mid & high range frequencies as well as powerful bass for an incredible sound experience.

The Realme Buds Q has an R1Q chip that carries Bluetooth 5.0 technology. That’s provided you to connect Buds Q together your Phone in the time you open the case and take them out.

There is also support for touch controls. Three gestures control are provided on each earbud – a double-tap, a triple tap, and a long press. If you use the Realme Link app, you even get to customize these gestures to your liking, by default double-tapping on either of the earbuds lets you answer calls and play or pause music, triple tapping will skip to the next song.

They are also IPX4 rated so they can withstand sweat or light water splashes. The water-resistance only provided to the buds and not to the case.

The charging case comes with a single micro-USB port for charging. There is an LED indicator on the case to indicate the charging. Realme Buds Q case features a single LED button so there is no technique to estimate how much power is remaining in the case.

Realme will be offering the earbuds in three colors- Quite Black, Quite Yellow, and Quite White.

PRICE: The Realme Buds Q is priced at Rs 1,999 in India and will likely be available to buy on Amazon India and Realme.com. The first flash sale is scheduled for July 1 at 12 PM IST.
